Special Programming for Returning Citizens CAPA & MFI (Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative)
CAPA and MFI have entered into and exciting and unique conference collaboration in order to offer the community two life changing events. As a prisoner reentry service/program provider, volunteer or reentry stakeholder you should attend the CAPA conference. However at the same time men and women returning home from prison, will be able to attend the MFI conference. The MFI conference will feature many workshops that are ideal for men and women returning home after incarceration. The MFI conference will also sponsor a health fair, job fair and provide assistance with child support debt reduction, and driver licenses recovery. The great news is that there is NO COST for the MFI conference.
If you are a returning citizen or if you have returning citizens in your program, we encourage you to register them for the MFI Conference!

This session will provide Pastors and Church Leaders with answers on how they can minister to formerly incarcerated people and their families. You will also hear strategies on what churches and communities can do to alleviate the issue of absentee and disconnected fathers. Every church congregation has been and will continue to be impacted by these two critical and interrelated issues.
